People & Power – Island of music and murder

As it is important for me to bring you guys an escape from what you see in your life on a daily basis. It would be morally wrong for me to just speak entertainment and take you away from what you are currently go through. As a black male I fully understand the frustration of one that has been harassed and racially profiled by the police. By the grace of God I have never been assaulted by police but I have come close to that. This however is outrageous and needs to be spoken about. I have put up Vybz Kartel – Emergency a while ago and I feel that this is the most appropriate song for this situation.

I warn you that this video is very graphic towards the beginning. There are no body parts and such but it does show footage of the crime scene never cleaned up. If anyone knows how we can make more noise or make a change please let me know. This is not an issue just in Jamaica, US, and such. The people of authority just do what they want. The power needs to be in the peoples hands not of a select few.
