Oneil Edwards of Voicemail Shot

It brings me no pleasure to have to write such news. I have lived in the US and was aware of what murder was when 2 Pac, Biggie, and Freaky Tah of the Lost Boyz were murdered. I feel as if I understand what the reporters of the time felt at the time. I can only imagine what his family is going through. Voicemail’s songs are very captivating and remind me of of early T.O.K. One of their tracks that I have to say caught my attention was their song on the Ice Breaka riddim. I have posted the Ice Breaka Medley as well as their performance at Shortwood Teachers College.

It was reported that yesterday May 10th at 1:00 AM Oneil Edwards was shot several times while coming home. His neighbors, who hope for his recovery, stated that two men were seen running for his house. It is reported that he was shot in his head, back, abdomen, leg, and finger.

My strength goes out to the Edwards family and everyone involved with Voicemail that knew him very well. I hope Oneil will fight off such bad mind that has him in this hospital and rises against his attackers vision of his demise.

Jaylin Flemings A True Inspiration

If there is one thing that I have been learning through these months is that hard work shows its results. Practice, practice, practice is all my mom every told me to do and that is exactly what Jaylin does. Granted he is very gifted he still puts in work like the rest of us. I think this is something that comes at the best time in my life and from speaking to you guys on Facebook you probably feel the same way. Have a blessed day and keep up the hard work.

I would like to thank the LeClerc Brothers for such great work depicting the people of my country that sculpted my being. To outsiders these things may look strange or different but if one were to make a major production of Haitian life I would only had it made like this. The last video says some real things. The socially conscious readers should enjoy this one.
