I have to thank the people that continue to be friends with us on facebook www.facebook.com/101vibez. You guys are the best friends we can ever ask for. We are working on updating the site and getting and making exclusive content just for you guys. We are going to be adding a few new categories that pertain more to who we are and what we do other than listen to music. I would love to hear your input and suggestions on the fan page, on the comments, through email, twitter, you can even text me direct at 347.878.VIBE (8423). One love. Hope you enjoy the mix.
I don’t know what made me think to look this up but I feel like I have relearned a few things. I will be conditioning myself even more from this point on. I hope this serves as an inspiration to you guys. Half a world away and they still have some of the same ideologies as Rastafarian. I picked up a Rastafarian documentary from Reggae Hut on Nostrand Ave between Lincoln and Maple, across from the church. It was about Haile Selassie and Ethiopia. The story of Ethiopia is rather similar to the Sholin Temple and how there were several attempts to bring it down.
I hope you guys find something in this that helps you in your daily lives. Have a blessed Week
Shouts to my boy that sent me this. This track is super unique. I feel like it has so many elements of music. Modern music has really become such an interesting blend of different cultures. Wande Cole a Nigerian artist has a nice Reggae/Dancehall feel with some nice African drum patterns. I do have to say he does sound like Akon a little bit at times it isn’t enough for me to be turned off to it.
Now it’s back to business. Shout out to everyone who has a birthday people. Yesterday was my brother’s he’s growin up infront my eyes. I learned a great deal of things and got some great connects. So my French and Creole speaking people, I got you on some things. Got a few other posts I feel is necessary. Well onto the damn thing then.
Respects to my Buddhist and Hindus. I got nuff friends that celebrate. Enjoy!
