CorleonTV: Voicing Jah Cure for Feeling Riddim
Right on time for Thanksgiving break. Don in di studio with Jah Cure yet again. Don told me he was coming back to di culture tunes mi nah believe him. Him come out with the feminine riddim and pulse riddim almost at the same time. I cant see how him mind can mek another Drop Leaf. Come to see him have “Cure Again. Here to bring you more again.” I have to say I have a real attachment to di whole riddim. It came to me at a tough time and helped me work through it. I have to say I am in awe at the amount of energy Cure gives off on the track. His lyrics are still has humble as I was introduced to them. Him poses a rare skill to touch your heart while singin. Add di riddim from Don, magic. It tek a song about oppression and suffering and it mek you feel like you can move past it. No matter what your problem you know dealing with that pain can be hard. Opening that door that holds all your problems, that drawer that has your mess that you tuck away hoping you will have to throw it away rather than deal with it.
To all of my people where ever you are please find the strength to hold your head up high, widen those shoulders, open up your nose and straighten up your back and breathe in because one day you will breathe that sigh of releif. Jah Bless. I am headed home.
